KUNDUR – Still in the momentum of commemorating Heroes Day which falls on November 10, PT Timah Tbk gave Tali Asih to the members of the Veteran Ranting Kundur Legion at Wisma Timah Kundur Building, Friday (12/11/2021).
Tali Asih is an annual program that is routinely implemented by PT Timah Tbk as a form to respect and appreciation the veteran legion members who have played a role in the struggle for Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
In addition to the momentum of Heroes Day, this Tali Asih is also being held on Independence Day. This social support and foodstuff are expected to ease the burden of veterans in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This Tali Asih was handed over by the General Manager of PT Timah Tbk Riau's Island and Riau Operations Area, which was also witnessed by employees of PT Timah Tbk, Ebbi Wibisana, Head of Metallurgical Unit Kundur, Anton Saputra Deputy Head of Production Unit, and Veteran and Warakauri Member of Kundur Branch.
One of the managers of Veteran Ranting Kundur Legion, Hardjono appreciated PT Timah Tbk who had paid attention to veterans and Warakauri Ranting Kundur by giving this rope.
"We greatly appreciate PT Timah for all the attention that is always poured out to us veterans and Warakauri Ranting Kundur which is already old," he said.
