KUNDUR -- Supporting community sports activities, PT Timah Tbk handed over sports facilities to the Youth of Tanjung Berlian Kundur Utara Village and Inkado Karatedo Sports Tanjung Balai Karimun, Thursday (10/02/2022).
This sports facility assistance is expected to encourage community sports activities so that they can carry out a healthy lifestyle.
Inkado chairman, Karimun Junaidi appreciated PT Timah for showing its concern by providing sports facilities and infrastructure for the community.
According to him, during the training, his party had limited tools and supporting facilities. But now, with the help of equipment provided by PT Timah, it can increase the spirit to practice.
"We are quite happy and increasingly excited to practice, so that it can motivate us to achieve achievements," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Tanjung Berlian Kundur Utara Village, Bambang Iryanto, appreciates the support of PT Timah Tbk, which has completed the volleyball facilities that are currently needed by young people to channel their sports hobbies.
"Hopefully, with adequate sports facilities, it will increase the enthusiasm of youth and the community in exercising to excel," he said.
On the same occasion, the Head of Kundur Utara District, Murnizam, hoped that PT Timah Tbk would continue to help the community in the region.
