Masjid Al-Hidayah Tegal Rejo Receives Assistance Again, Chairman Appreciates PT Timah’s Role in Supporting Places of Worship

WEST BANGKA – PT Timah continues to bring positive impact to the community within its operational areas by conducting various religious and social activities during the Holy Month of Ramadan 1446 Hijri.

As part of MIND ID’s Mining Industry Holding, PT Timah has also assisted in places of worship to enhance comfort for worshippers.

This time, PT Timah extended its support to the management of Masjid Al-Hidayah in Tegal Rejo Village, Mentok, West Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

Sarbudiono, Chairman of Masjid Al-Hidayah, stated that the donation from PT Timah would be used for the renovation of the women's ablution area.

"Alhamdulillah, today we received assistance from PT Timah, which will be used to renovate the women's ablution area in our mosque," he said.

He explained that the renovation was necessary as the previous water storage facility for ablution had collapsed.

"Previously, the ablution water storage collapsed, leaving no facility for women to perform ablution. We submitted a request to PT Timah for assistance in renovating the damaged water storage, and Alhamdulillah, our request has been granted today," he added.

He expressed gratitude for PT Timah’s ongoing support for places of worship within its operational areas, including in Mentok.

"We are grateful to Allah SWT for PT Timah's care and attention toward places of worship in Mentok, especially in our mosque," said Sarbudiono.

Furthermore, he appreciated PT Timah’s consistent contributions in various initiatives.

"This is the third time PT Timah has assisted us. About three years ago, they supported the mosque's construction. They have also helped us organize charity events for orphans around Masjid Al-Hidayah," he stated.

"We pray for PT Timah’s continued success and hope it remains beneficial to the community in Mentok, contributing through development programs, worship facilities, social aid, and assistance for those in need," he concluded. (*)
