TANJUNG BATU – PT Timah Tbk helped repair the house of Tahfiz An-Nur in Sungai Ungar Village, Kundur District, Karimun Regency, Monday (22/11/2021).
As is known, the condition of Tahfiz An-Nur's house is in very poor condition, some parts of it even seem to be on the verge of collapsing, so that currently as many as 30 students who are studying are staying at the residents' houses.
The caretaker and administrator of the Tahfid An-Nur House, Ustaz Nur Hanafi, said that some parts of the Tahfiz house had been damaged and needed to be renovated so that the students could study safely and comfortably.
"Students who are studying tahfiz are currently staying at people's homes, because the conditions in our place are no longer safe to live in, let alone to study," said Ustaz Nur Hanafi.
He said that the assistance provided by PT Timah Tbk will be used to repair the roof, floors and other parts so that they can be reused for students to study safely and comfortably.
“Thank you to PT Timah for paying attention to us as well as caring for the world of education. With this assistance from PT Timah Tbk, hopefully it can make children safe and comfortable and focus on learning, this assistance is very meaningful for our students, "he said.
Similarly, other Management Muhtar also appreciated the assistance of PT Timah Tbk which had helped and supported learning activities and increased the comfort of the students in memorizing the Al-Quran.
