Lively Healthy Walk with SOEs in Bangka Belitung Was Lively, Rhizomes of Residents Dissolved in Excitement

BANGKA BELITUNG -- The lively healthy walk with SOEs which was held in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province (Babel) was lively. masses of people attended the Joint Healthy Walk in the framework of the 25th Anniversary of BUMN, Sunday (19/2/2023).

BUMN Minister Erick Thohir invited all BUMN employees and the public to take a Healthy Walk with BUMN. This activity was enthusiastically welcomed by the people in each region.

Healthy Walks with SOEs were held in seven Regencies/Cities in Babel. This activity also took place in 234 districts/cities in Indonesia with the theme 'Together with SOEs Towards Healthy Indonesia'.

This Healthy Walk with SOEs also distributed hundreds of prizes to the community such as motorbikes, bicycles, refrigerators, washing machines, and others.

PT Timah Tbk as a BUMN also supports the implementation of Healthy Walks with BUMN in three areas in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, namely in East Belitung, Bangka, and West Bangka Regencies.

Apart from being attended by the public, a number of Regional Heads also took part in Health Walks with SOEs such as in East Belitung, West Bangka, and Bangka.

East Belitung Regent Burhanudin appreciated the Healthy Walk with SOEs which was carried out by SOEs in East Belitung.

This healthy walk, he said, is not just a sport, but builds synergy and collaboration to develop the region and the Indonesian state.

According to him, BUMN synergizes with the Regional Government in development in their area.

"BUMN has commitment, CSR, and everything as a state-owned enterprise and has been coordinated and integrated from the center to the regions," he said.

In the same vein, West Bangka Regent Sukirman appreciated the Health Walk with SOEs so that the community could exercise together.

"Thank you to BUMNs that have contributed a lot to our country, including to West Bangka. So PT Timah and the West Bangka government cannot be separated," he said.

Likewise, with the Deputy Regent of Bangka, Syahbudin appreciated the Healthy Walk with SOEs.

According to him, the presence of SOEs in Bumi Se Pintu Sedulang has provided extraordinary benefits.

"PT Timah Tbk as a BUMN and other BUMNs also through CSR its existence has been felt by the community. Participate in driving economic growth. We need to continue with activities like this,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Main Director of PT Timah Tbk, Achmad Ardianto, said that the presence of SOEs is needed by the community to support regional development. Then the presence of PT Timah Tbk in East Belitung can bring SOEs closer to the community.
That way, he said, BUMN can feel more about what the community needs and can play a role in supporting Forkopimda to develop the areas where BUMN operates.

"So getting to know, knowing so that we know better what society needs and how far we can contribute," he said.

"PT Timah Tbk will contribute even more if we are strong and healthy. We hope that we are strong and healthy, such that production targets can be achieved so that responsibility and commitment to society can be carried out perfectly," he explained.

The excitement of the healthy walk was also felt by Shella Umaya Safitry (21), a resident of Kampung Jawa, Sungailiat, who won a motorcycle door prize.

He did not expect to get the gift, for him, this is the most beautiful gift for him.

"Alhamdulillah, I got a fortune in the form of a motorbike. Maybe this is also a birthday present for me, because on February 8 I turned 21," he continued.

"For Pak Erick Tohir, thank you for holding this activity, I hope it will always be more successful. And in the future SOEs can hold activities like this, and of course even bigger ones. And for PT Timah, hopefully it will be even more successful," said Shella.

In the same vein, East Belitung resident Alfiansyah said he never even dreamed of getting the main prize for the motorbike.

He also added that the healthy walk with BUMN in Beltim was very lively and exciting.

"It's just a dream to never get a motorbike, and hopefully in the future BUMN will be better," said the Lalang Village Linmas. (**)
