PERAYUN --- Danlantamal IV Batam First Admiral TNI Kemas M. Ikhwan Madani and Kapolda Riau Islands Inspector General Pol. Drs Tabana Bangun carried out a working visit to PT Timah Tbk Kundur Production Unit, Wednesday (10/5/2023).
During this working visit, the Batam Danlantamal IV group together with the Riau Islands Police Chief were welcomed by the Head of the Kundur Production Unit Ari Wibowo. This work visit as well as hospitality is a form of synergy between institutions.
Danlantamal IV Batam and the Regional Police Chief on this occasion also saw directly the business processes carried out by PT Timah Tbk such as processing tin, visiting tin warehouses, and having discussions.
Danlantamal IV Batam First Admiral TNI Kemas M. Ikhwan Madani said his party was ready to support PT Timah Tbk's security in carrying out the company's business processes.
"If things happen that could disrupt PT Timah's work processes, we are ready to provide assistance if needed so as not to cause harm to all parties," he said.
Meanwhile, the Riau Islands Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Drs Tabana Bangun said that this working visit was also a friendly visit so that the synergies that had been built would be even better.
"So far I have seen that the working relationship and coordination between PT Timah and the Riau Islands Police have been well established. So it is hoped that my arrival here can improve relations even better," he said.
He was also impressed with the contribution made by PT Timah Tbk so that according to him, the company's business processes must be supported.
"PT Timah Tbk is a company that we must protect because this is a state company. I invite all staff to help protect PT Timah from interference from various parties that can cause harm to the state," he ordered.
On this occasion, the Head of the Kundur Production Unit Ari Wibowo also explained the company's business processes, environmental management efforts, community empowerment programs, and distribution of the company's CSR to communities around the mine. (*)
