Enviromental Policy

PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk, as a company engaged in tin mining, fully acknowledges the presence of risks and impacts caused by its mining activities on its workers, employees, communities, other stakeholders as well as the surrounding environment.


All levels of management and employees of PT TIMAH (Persero) agree to optimize positive impacts and minimize risks and negative impact by applying Good Mining Practices or good mining practices by: All management and employees of PT TIMAH (Persero)Tbk are committed to optimizing the benefits and minimize the risks and negative impacts of its operations, by implementing the following Good Mining Practices.

  1. Obeying all rules and regulations and norms relating to Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Stewardship.
  2. Preventing the occurrence of pollution, workplace accident, and occupational diseases at the earliest possible stage.
  3. Enhancing the skills of employees in managing occupational health and safety and management of environmental impacts.
  4. Fostering employees’ concern about occupational health and safety and environmental quality issues
  5. Continuously improving its performance in occupational health and safety and environmental quality.
