WEST BANGKA -- Sumiati (37) looked happy when she received a visit from the PT Timah Tbk team to her residence in Sangku Village, Tempilang District, West Bangka Regency, Thursday (22/6/2023).
The arrival of PT Timah Tbk to hand over medical expenses for Sumiati Jenika Puteri's child who suffers from heart problems.
According to Sumiyati, this is the second aid from PT Timah Tbk for her baby which will be used for accommodation for Jenika's treatment.
"Thank God, Jenika is finally able to control her treatment in Jakarta, thanks to the help of PT Timah. So far it has been delayed because there are no accommodation costs.
This assistance is for the second time from PT Timah," she said.
She admits that she is forced to give up her possessions for the healing of her baby, while her husband's income is only a day laborer, only enough for his daily needs.
"Apart from going to Jakarta for treatment every six months, Jenika also has to have control at Depati Hamzah Hospital once a month, sometimes we have to sell our possessions for her treatment," explained Sumiyati.
"I am grateful that PT Timah Tbk has been so concerned about trying to help Jenika recover," she said.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Parittiga sub-district, Rusian appreciated PT Timah's concern for Jenika's recovery, and for its sick residents.
