KUNDUR – PT Timah continues to demonstrate its social concern for communities in its operational areas, including by providing financial assistance for medical treatment to low-income families.
This time, PT Timah provided medical assistance to Arisha Shakila Ramadhani, a resident of Penarah Village, Belat District, Karimun Regency.
Arisha has been suffering from a congenital heart defect for the past three years and is currently undergoing intensive treatment at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in Jakarta. Due to the high cost of treatment, PT Timah extended its support to help ease the financial burden.
A representative of PT Timah Tbk recently handed over the medical assistance directly to the Head of Penarah Village, Abdul Rahman. The aid will then be delivered to Arisha's family.
Abdul Rahman, fondly known as Pakman, expressed his appreciation for PT Timah’s support to their resident, stating that the assistance is truly needed to help cover the medical expenses.“On behalf of the residents of Penarah Village, I would like to thank PT Timah for helping with the medical treatment costs of Mr. Ismail’s child. May PT Timah continue to grow and thrive in the future,” he said.
Similar sentiments were shared by Ismail, Arisha’s father, who was deeply moved upon receiving the financial support from PT Timah for his daughter’s treatment.
“I sincerely thank PT Timah Tbk for helping with my child’s medical expenses. I hope PT Timah continues to prosper and succeed,” he said.
