EAST BELITUNG - PT Timah Tbk supports the activities of the East Belitung Regency KNPI DPD in the marine exploration activity of Buku Limau, East Belitung Manggar.
The Maritime Explore was carried out for several days involving DPD, DPK KNPI East Belitung, in order to introduce the existing tourism potential in Buku Limau Village.
The Chairperson of the Beltim KNPI, Nazirwan, said the exploration activity was to introduce tourism potential in the village, because many tourists came to Belitung, but were not aware of the tourism potential in East Belitung and Buku Limau Village.
"That's why our concept is to explore the Buku Limau," said Nazirwan.
According to Nazirwan, there are several activities carried out in Buku Limau, namely health checks and education for children.
In addition, the East Belitung KNPI also provided assistance with as many as 7,000 balsa stem seeds to the Village Government so that the Village would not look barren and could help generate income potential.
"And at the end of the year we pray together," he explained.
According to him, PT Timah Tbk's assistance was very useful for the implementation of these activities.
Moreover, PT Timah Tbk has always been there to provide support to the Beltim KNPI, both DPD, and DKP before.
"We are deeply grateful to PT Timah Tbk, for providing a place and support for us Beltim youth to carry out activities related to youth," he explained.
He hopes that PT Timah Tbk will continue to support the activities of the DPD KNPI Beltim, because there are still many ideas from the Beltim youth that have an impact on youth, of course.
Because, in 2022 they will not receive grants, sponsorship assistance such as PT Timah Tbk is urgently needed.
