BELITUNG -- The Belitung BUMN House which is a forum for marketing MSME products on Belitung Island has been inaugurated by the Special Staff of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in the field of public communications, Arya Sinulingga, Thursday (15/12/2022).
The inauguration of Rumah BUMN was marked by the signing of the inscription Rumah BUMN Belitung which was witnessed by representatives of BUMN, the community, and MSME players on Belitung Island.
Rumah BUMN Belitung is an asset of PT Timah Tbk which has been transformed into an MSME gallery to market various products of BUMN-fostered partners such as PT Timah Tbk, Bank BRI, Angkasa Pura, Pos Indonesia, PLN and PT Telkom.
Its strategic location, beside the Al-Ihram Mosque, Jl Kemuning, Parit sub-district, Tanjung Pandan, Belitung Regency Belitung BUMN House can also be a choice for tourists to buy typical Belitung souvenirs.
PT Timah Tbk as the PIC of Rumah BUMN Belitung together with other BUMNs continues to develop services at Rumah BUMN Belitung such as a payment system that has been carried out digitally, increasing the number of fostered partner products.
Currently, there are already hundreds of MSME products being marketed at Rumah BUMN Belitung Timur from various BUMN-fostered partners. Products marketed include handicrafts, food, batik, and others.
Special Staff of the Minister of BUMN for Public Communication, Arya Sinulingga said, in 2021 they came to Belitung and saw that Belitung MSMEs had good potential, but did not yet have BUMN houses.
For this reason, Arya suggested that PT Timah Tbk make the Belitung BUMN House. Arya explained in addition to marketing MSME products. Rumah BUMN Belitung is also a place for coaching MSMEs starting from training, financing, and others.
"I ordered it here to be a place for training, financing, and all, the point is the collaboration of SOEs here," said Arya.
Arya said that with coaching for MSME actors, they could develop their products so that they could help the fostered partners.
"We expect all SOEs to collaborate here, presenting their MSME partners," he said.
Furthermore, Arya explained that the Ministry of BUMN, by the directions of the Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir, invited BUMN to buy MSME products for operational needs in their respective offices.
"Here is the place for Belitung's UMKM, and by itself helps Belitung tourism," he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the Babel SOE Forum, Daniel Silitonga was grateful for the presence of the Belitung BUMN house. He said that thanks to the encouragement from the Special Staff of the Minister of BUMN, Arya Sinulingga , the Belitung BUMN House was finally able to stand.
"This is our platform for all SOEs to collaborate because we are asked to synergize with each other," he said.
He hopes that with the existence of the BUMN house, BUMN can help MSME players in Belitung.
This is because MSME actors are not only capital assistance, but training and marketing assistance.
"Where the products of each BUMN fostered partner can be marketed here," he explained.
PT Timah Tbk's Corporate Communications Head, Anggi Siahaan said PT Timah Tbk supports the progress of MSMEs through the Micro Small Business Funding (PUMK) program.

What's more, with the presence of Rumah BUMN Belitung, they can add a platform for marketing their products.
