KUNDUR -- Still in the Moment of Ramadhan 1445 Hijriah, PT Timah again handed over aid to places of worship in the Karimun Regency area.
This assistance for houses of worship was handed over during the Ramadhan Safari activity which was held at the Wisma Timah Multipurpose Building in the Kundur Operational Area last weekend.
Director of Operations and Production of PT Timah Nur Adi Kuncoro handed over aid directly to Musala Al Kautsar and Musala A's Syakirin Dusun IV Teluk Dalam, Kundur Village
Head of Al Kautsar Prayer Room Construction, Hamlet III, Gemuruh Village, West Kundur District Khairi expressed his appreciation for the assistance provided by PT Timah to support the ongoing construction of the Prayer Room.
According to him, previously PT Timah had also assisted in the construction of a prayer room. They were very impressed with the company's attention and care for the house of worship.
"Thank you to PT Timah for the assistance and attention that has been given to us, so that this assistance helps smooth the development activities that we are carrying out. Hopefully, the construction of this prayer room can be completed soon so that it can be used," he said.
Likewise, the administrator of A's Syakirin prayer room, Saleh Hadan from Dusun IV Teluk Dalam, Kundur Village, said that he did not expect to receive assistance from PT Timah. The reason is that they never applied for assistance.
"We will use this aid plan to repair roofs that are starting to rot with age, especially as the holidays are approaching," he said.
He hopes that PT Timah will continue to operate on Kundur Island so that it can continue to contribute to supporting the development and economy of the people of Karimun Regency. (*)
