WEST BANGKA -- At the momentum of the Month of Ramadhan, 'PT Timah Tbk Berbagi' is back with basic food packages for the residents of West Bangka Regency.
Located in Air Limau Village, 200 basic food packages were distributed to residents by being delivered directly to the recipient's homes, Saturday (1/4/2023).
This basic food package assistance is a form of company concern to ease the burden on the community during Ramadan 1444 Hijriyah.
Supriadi (69), one of the recipients of basic food assistance, said he was happy to receive the basic food packages from PT Timah Tbk.
"Certainly we are very happy to thank PT Timah. It will lighten our burden during Ramadan," he said.
In the same vein, Aminah (60) said that basic food is a necessity during the month of Ramadan.
"Alhamdulillah, thank you for the help. I hope it will be blessed. The need for groceries is really needed when we fast," she said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Air Limau Village, Mexsidiansah, appreciated the Timah Sharing activities during Ramadan. According to him, PT Timah Tbk often helps Air Limau Village.
"This assistance will be distributed to people who have not received PKH, BLT, BPNT, or other assistance so that there is social equity so that social inequality does not occur in the Air Limau community," he said.
PT Timah Tbk, according to him, often helps the community in their village, such with environmental, social, and other religious assistance.
