In the First Quarter, PT Timah's Healthy Cars Have Served Thousands of Residents in Bangka Belitung and Riau Islands Provinces

PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah's Healthy Car continues to provide health services to communities in the Company's operational areas. This free health service program has reached thousands of people in 2025.

The presence of PT Timah's Healthy Car is a form of the company's commitment in supporting the improvement of the quality of public health. From January to March 2025, PT Timah's Healthy Car has visited ten points spread across Bangka Belitung Islands Province and Riau Islands Province.

A total of 1221 people have benefited from the presence of PT Timah's Healthy Car. Residents who get services include ranging from children to the elderly.

Through the Healthy Car fleet, PT Timah presents basic health checks such as checking blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, health consultations to healthy lifestyle education.

In implementing the Mobil Sehat program, PT Timah collaborates with the Government and community groups. So that this health service can be optimal and effective in improving the quality of public health.

PT Timah's Healthy Cars are always welcomed enthusiastically by the community, it is not surprising that many hope that Healthy Cars can come back to their villages to provide health services.

Not only visiting hamlets and villages in the Company's operational areas, PT Timah's Healthy Car also provides health services in public facilities such as markets and others.

“This program is a tangible manifestation of the company's commitment to support the improvement of the quality of public health, as well as part of corporate social responsibility,” said PT Timah's Corporate Commnucation Department Head, Anggi Siahaan.

Anggi added, Mobil Sehat not only helps residents who experience limited access to medical services, but also becomes an effective forum for communication and health socialization.

“PT Timah hopes that the presence of this Healthy Car is a preventive effort for diseases and can encourage public awareness of the importance of maintaining health from an early age,” Anggi concluded. (*)
