PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah has received various awards related to sustainability programs throughout 2023. These awards were obtained due to the commitment to sustainable mining business practices.
In 2023, PT Timah achieved various awards at the national and international levels. These awards were earned in several sectors, including environmental management, community empowerment programs, information technology, archiving, CSR, innovation, and others.
PT Timah and its subsidiaries received awards at both the national and international levels.
Some of the awards received by PT Timah include the International LACP Vision Awards 2022, the 14th IICD Corporate Governance Conference and Award (Top 50 Middle Capitalization Public Listed Company with the best corporate governance practices in the CG Best Overall category), the ASEAN Mineral Award 2023 (First Runner Up for Best Practices in Sustainable Mineral Development in the Mineral Distribution - Metallic category).
PT Timah also received the Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASRRAT) 2023 award held by the National Centre for Corporate Reporting (NCCR) in November 2023.
PT Timah received the Mining Safety Innovation Award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. PT Timah also won the Digitech Award 2023, and the Digital Technology & Innovation Award 2023 as the Best Digital Transformation 2023 (Mining Industries).
Furthermore, PT Timah was awarded the State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) in Archiving Management based on the 2022 Archiving Supervision Results and Accreditation Qualifications from ANRI.
In the social field, PT Timah received the Best CSR Award 2023 by The Iconomics, ESG Disclosure Transparency Awards 2023 with a Leadership AA predicate, and the Tamasya Award 2023 (Award for Community Development and Empowerment Performance (PPM) / Mining Enriches the Community (Tamasya) Award 2023 in the Monitoring and Evaluation category Involving Multiple Parties, Assessment Period 2022).
Members of the Mining Industry Holding MIND ID also received awards in the environmental sector, such as 35 Awards in the ENSIA Award event, the National Energy Council (DEN) 2023 Award (awards in the commitment category to the use of clean energy), and the Gold Proper from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
