EAST BELITUNG - To support the improvement of the quality of education for communities around the mine, PT Timah Tbk is helping to offset the educational costs of Epan Saputra, a student of the Business Technology Institute (ITB) Ahmad Dahlan Jakarta in 2023.
Epan Saputra is studying at the Bachelor's level at ITB Ahmad Dahlan Jakarta.
The child of the couple Amrin and Hasanah is very happy to receive education fees from PT Timah Tbk because he really needs these funds to support his education.
In fact, Epan hopes that PT Timah Tbk's assistance can lead him to trial and complete his education.
"Alhamdulillah, I'm happy, this fee is really needed to pay for administration and the campus Single Tuition Fee (UKT)," said Epan Saputra.
According to Epan, in order to get tuition assistance from PT Timah Tbk, he did follow the existing procedures. This assistance will be used to pay UKT in arrears on campus.
"I will immediately pay off my UKT fee arrears on campus," explained the student majoring in Islamic finance.
Because, if he immediately pays the UKT that is in arrears, he can have the final trial on August 18.
He hopes that PT Timah Tbk will continue to help people in need on Belitung Island.
