PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah remains committed to continuously implementing its social responsibility programs. This commitment is reinforced through various initiatives that directly impact communities and the environment in the Company’s operational areas.
Throughout the first half of 2025, PT Timah Tbk has carried out numerous Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs targeting the education, environmental, economic, and health sectors.
As a member of the MIND ID Mining Industry Holding, PT Timah's CSR programs are not only a form of regulatory compliance but have become part of the company's sustainability strategy to create long-term added value for communities surrounding its operational areas.
During the first six months of this year, PT Timah initiated several programs in the education sector, including the Pemali Boarding School Program, which provides high school scholarships to 108 students enrolled at SMAN 1 Pemali. This program not only covers educational expenses but also living costs, skill development, and personal mentoring.
Additionally, PT Timah has conducted the “Timah Teaching” program, offering scientific writing workshops for teachers across its operational areas. The TINS issuer also held educational seminars on parenting for teachers and parents of children with disabilities, benefiting 167 participants.
Still in the education sector, PT Timah ran the “Smart Movement” program aimed at improving numeracy skills among elementary school teachers, with 80 teachers participating.
In the environmental sector, PT Timah has carried out various activities such as the fishing ground program. In the first semester of 2025, the company submerged 178 units of fish shelters.
The company has also been active in mangrove reforestation efforts, planting 11,000 mangrove trees to help preserve coastal ecosystems.
In terms of MSME development, PT Timah has provided training and capital support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The company also actively promotes MSME products through various exhibitions and supports them with production equipment.
In the socio-cultural sector, PT Timah offers healthcare services to the public through its Mobile Health Clinic. A total of 2,478 people received healthcare services through this program.

Anggi added that the company’s structured and continuous CSR programs are expected to enhance the quality of life, boost the local economy, and contribute to regional development.
