KARIMUN -- PT Timah continues to support the improvement of educational facilities and infrastructure in the company's operational areas. This is in line with the company's efforts to improve the quality of community education.
This time, PT Timah handed over assistance to Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Darul Jannah in Karimun District, Karimun Regency. This assistance will be used to repair the school building which is starting to deteriorate.
The head of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Jannah, Abdul Aziz, said that the ceiling of the school building was starting to be damaged, so it could endanger students. For this reason, the assistance from PT Timah will be used to repair the flapon.
“This assistance is planned to be used to repair the roof, ceiling, and fence of the madrasah,” Abdul Aziz said.
Abdul Aziz appreciated the assistance from PT Timah for their school, he hopes that PT Timah can continue to support the education sector.
"This is the first assistance from PT Timah. Hopefully PT Timah will be more advanced and provide more assistance for social and education," he said.
PT Timah's steps in supporting the education sector are also in line with the fourth Asta Cita of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, namely strengthening the development of human resources, science, technology, education, health, sports achievements, gender equality, and strengthening the role of women, youth and people with disabilities.
