KARIMUN -- To improve community comfort in worship, PT TIMAH Tbk has once again provided facilities and infrastructure assistance for houses of worship in Gemuruh Village, West Kundur District, Karimun Regency.
This time, PT TIMAH Tbk delivered air conditioning units to five prayer rooms in Gemuruh Village, namely Musala Rania El Barjawi, Sabariatul Janah, Al-Fatah, Nurul Huda, and An-Nur.
The assistance was handed over by the CSR Team of PT TIMAH Tbk and witnessed by the Head of Gemuruh Village, Ari Supriadi Nurfaizal, along with the prayer room administrators, on Thursday (February 5, 2026).
Ari Supriadi expressed his appreciation to PT TIMAH Tbk for providing assistance to the prayer rooms in Gemuruh Village, especially as it comes ahead of the upcoming month of Ramadan.
“Five prayer rooms will receive air conditioners from PT TIMAH Tbk. This is truly needed, especially as we approach Ramadan. These five prayer rooms previously did not have air conditioning,” he said.
He stated that the addition of air conditioning would enhance the comfort of the community while worshiping. Therefore, he reminded the prayer room administrators to properly maintain and take care of the assistance provided by PT TIMAH Tbk.
“This assistance must be well maintained so that the benefits can continue to be felt by the congregation. With air conditioning, people can worship more comfortably, especially as we enter the hot season,” he said.
According to Ari, PT TIMAH Tbk not only provides support for houses of worship but also frequently carries out religious and social activities, as well as free healthcare services for the community.
“In addition to this assistance, PT TIMAH Tbk also provides healthcare services through the Mobile Health Unit. There is support for livable housing, sports activities, and also assistance for MSMEs,” he said.
He hopes that the synergy and collaboration with PT TIMAH Tbk will continue and that the company will remain present in supporting and improving community welfare.
“We hope PT TIMAH Tbk will continue to thrive and grow stronger so it can keep helping the community and improving people’s welfare,” he concluded. (*)
