Implementing Employment Social Security, PT Timah Again Wins the 2024 Paritrana Award

PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah has again received the 2024 Patritrana Award from the Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Government and BPJS Employment.

PT Timah won the First Best Paritrana Award 2024 at the Bangka Belitung Islands Province Level in the Mining, Manufacturing, and Services Categories,

This award was handed over by the Head of the South Sumatra BPJS Employment Regional Office, Muhyidin to the Head of the Rewards and Post-Employment Management Division of PT Timah's Human Capital Division on the 3rd Floor, Bangka Belitung Governor's Office, Wednesday (27/3/2024).

The Charter Paritrana Award is an award given by the president and organized by the Employment Social Security Administering Body (BPJS) to provincial, district/city governments, large, medium scale business actors, public service sector businesses, and micro businesses that fully support the implementation of social security employment.

Head of the South Sumatra BPJS Employment Regional Office, Muhyidin, said that this award is a social security award given to city district governments business actors, MSMEs, and villages who are committed to implementing the employment social security program.

Several indicators are assessed in this award, namely in terms of regulations, overall participation coverage in the Bangka Belitung province, and what innovations have been carried out by regional governments and business actors to optimize employment social security protection, such as protection for vulnerable workers.

"By giving this Panitrana Award, it is hoped that district, city, village governments, companies, and business actors will continue to strive to optimize social protection for their workers," he said.

PT Timah apart from providing employment social security protection for its workers, through its CSR program the Company also provides employment social security for vulnerable groups and fishermen. (*)
