Ida Yuliani's business, a Resident of the Meranti Islands, Continues to Grow After Becoming a Partner with PT Timah Tbk, Able to Meet Consumer Needs

SELAT PANJANG -- Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in driving the community's economy. For this reason, PT Timah Tbk through the Micro Small Business Funding (PUMK) program continues to encourage its fostered partners to develop their businesses.

Many of PT Timah Tbk's fostered partners have succeeded in developing their businesses through the PUMK program. One of them was experienced by Ida Yuliani, a resident of Selat Panjang, Meranti Islands Regency.

Ida runs a fresh vegetable and fish business at the Selat Panjang Modern Market, telling that with PT Timah Tbk's PUMK program, she can develop her business by adding types of merchandise to meet consumer needs.

"The more complete the products we sell, the more happy consumers will be shopping at our place," said Ida.

Ida and her husband have been in the business of trading fresh vegetables and fish for more than 30 years at the market. However, it cannot be denied that they often experience various challenges in maintaining their business.

According to him, with minimal capital, of course, it is very difficult for him to increase the number of stocks so that his business does not seem to be growing.

"Thank God, after obtaining additional capital from PT Timah, gradually the business that I am running has increased because I can fulfill consumer needs," She said,

According to him, the PUMK program from PT Timah really helps small businesses like himself, and he has proven this himself. By increasing the types of merchandise, turnover also increases.

"PT Timah Tbk's PUMK program is very easy administratively and otherwise and this really helps us in developing our business," he said.

He hopes that PT Timah's PUMK program can continue to be implemented in Meranti Regency, because there are still many who want to take advantage of the program.

"We hope this program can continue, because there are also many business actors who want to take advantage of this program to help develop their businesses," She stated. (*)
