Hundreds of Residents of Bukit Kijang Village Get Treatment in PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car

CENTRAL BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car Service continues to provide health services for the community. This time, the community in Bukit Kijang Village, Namang District, Central Bangka Regency took advantage of the free health program from PT Timah Tbk.

The community took turns visiting the Bukit Kijang Village Office where PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car was parked, Friday (12/8/2022). A total of 111 residents of Bukit Kijang Village ranging from children to the elderly came to PT Timah Tbk's free health service Healthy Car.

The presence of PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car is to bring health services closer to the community. This is an effort to support the Healthy Lifestyle movement with regular health checks.

Head of Bukit Kijang Village, Idryansyah, said the community was quite enthusiastic about getting health services from PT Timah Tbk.

He said that in their village there was only a Polindes, for health services people usually came to the Namang Health Center which is about 7 kilometers from their village.

"Quite a lot of people came for treatment today. There are children and adults. Usually when people go to the Namang Health Center for treatment, there is also a Polindes, sometimes there are also people who come to Air Mesu," he said.

In addition, he said the residents of Bukit Kijang Village are quite diligent in getting their health checked. So that free health services like this are really needed by residents.

"This community cares about health, monthly health checks are also many residents who come. Because they are aware it is important to maintain health," he said.

His party appreciates PT Timah Tbk's commitment to routinely helping the community, not only health services but also social assistance such as basic necessities, decent housing and other assistance.

"PT Timah Tbk often helps the community here such as rice, sacrificial animals, houses and others," he said.

The resident of Bukit Kijang Suul Village (74) seemed excited to come to the Healthy Car, he walked even though his vision was not very clear.

"I know from my nephew today that there is free treatment. There are complaints of itching, headaches, so I came here for treatment myself. Not bad for the treatment, the doctor is friendly," he said.

Similarly, Sudiarti (41) said that he had complaints of sore and achy hands. He admits that he enjoys getting treatment at PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car.

"The doctors and staff are friendly, we ask questions and the consultation is good. Hopefully later this car will come here again, so we are closer to treatment," he said.
