South Bangka -- PT Timah Tbk once again provided healthcare services to communities in South Bangka Regency. This time, the PT Timah Mobile Clinic offered free medical services to residents in Permis Village, located in Simpang Rimba District, South Bangka Regency.
The health services, held at the Permis Village Office on Wednesday (October 1, 2025), were warmly welcomed by the community. A total of 140 residents received medical checkups and consultations from the PT Timah Mobile Clinic.
The Mobile Clinic is one of PT Timah Tbk's efforts to improve public health. By bringing healthcare services directly to remote villages and hamlets, the company aims to make access to healthcare more convenient and inclusive for the local population.
Services provided by the Mobile Clinic included general medical checkups, consultations, health education, and free medications.
In addition to offering healthcare services, the Mobile Clinic also serves as an educational platform to raise awareness about healthy living habits. This education is delivered through both direct counseling and interactions with medical professionals on-site.
One of the residents of Permis Village, Riawati (36), expressed her appreciation for the services provided by PT Timah's Mobile Clinic.
“This is really helpful for the people around Permis. I hope this program continues regularly, so we can have routine health checkups,” she said.
Similarly, Mislikawati (56) shared how the free medical treatment helped her become aware of her health conditions.
“Thanks to PT Timah’s free healthcare services, I found out that my cholesterol and blood pressure are high. And I didn’t have to spend any money for the treatment. Thank you,” she said.
Another resident, Linda, mentioned how convenient it was to receive medical treatment in her own village without having to travel far.
“Alhamdulillah, with PT Timah bringing free medical care through the Mobile Clinic, we no longer have to go far for treatment, and it’s completely free. I hope PT Timah continues to grow and always brings blessings,” she said.
Permis Village official, Zakaria, noted that the community was very enthusiastic about participating in the free health services provided by PT Timah. He hopes the Mobile Clinic can return again in the future.
“Thank you to PT Timah for caring about our community by providing the Mobile Clinic and offering free healthcare services. Hopefully, this program can be held again,” he said.
