KARIMUN -- Hundreds of people in Kundur Barat and Tebing Subdistricts, Karimun Regency are enthusiastic about taking advantage of the free medical services provided by PT TIMAH Tbk.
Health services carried out at the Ex-Kawilasi Building of PT TIMAH Tbk, Tebing District, were held on Wednesday (26/10/2022). Meanwhile, in Kundur Barat District, it was held in the Multipurpose Building of the Kundur Village Office on Thursday (27/10/2022).
In addition to providing health services, PT TIMAH Tbk also provided assistance with hundreds of additional food packages for stunted children in the two sub-districts.
One of the residents who took advantage of this free treatment, Yus Ahamadi (62) said he was pleased and helped by this free treatment.
"Hands often cramp and tingle, after being examined, I know the cause. Usually, I go to the health center for a health check and it's quite a distance to travel. So coincidentally there is free treatment here, so I came," said a resident of Kundur Village Springs.
Similarly, Jamaah (72), a resident of Dusun I, Kundur Village, revealed that he had several complaints, such as often feeling short of breath. He is grateful to be able to get free health services.
"After this examination, it is recommended for a Cardiologist so that it can be handled better. This health check activity is very good and of course, it helps the elderly like us not far to carry out health checks," he said.
On this occasion, PT Timah Tbk's doctor, Dr. Rizki, also educates the public to adopt a healthy lifestyle and consume healthy and balanced foods.
The reason is, based on the results of the examination, many people have hypertension, cholesterol, and joint pain.
Meanwhile, the Head of Kundur Barat District, Khaidir, directly observed the activity, appreciating PT TIMAH Tbk which has consistently given attention and assistance to the community.
"As we are witnessing today, PT TIMAH Tbk carries out medical treatment and health checks for the people of Kundur Barat. In addition to health checks, PT Timah also provides additional food assistance for stunted children," he said.
