BANGKA - PT Timah Tbk's series of devotional month activities continues, this time it is the turn of the community in Belinyu District, Bangka Regency to take part in mass circumcision and blood donation activities which are held at the Krida Stannia Building, Thursday (13/6/2023).
In addition to holding mass circumcisions and blood donations, a series of activities for the Month of Service to celebrate the 47th anniversary of PT Timah Tbk also provided free health services through the Healthy Car.
The PT Timah Tbk Service Month activity was also enthusiastically welcomed by the people in the Belinyu District. A total of 111 children took part in the mass circumcision which was held by PT Timah Tbk.
Habibi (36), one of the parents of the participants who took part in the mass circumcision, admitted that he was very grateful for this activity because he was able to circumcise his twin sons Muhammad Saka and Muhammad Saki. According to him, this activity is very helpful for them.
“I am very grateful today to be able to perform circumcision for my two sons. I also did not suspect that they were very interested in participating in this mass circumcision activity," he said.
Meanwhile, PT Timah Tbk General Manager Robertus Bambang Susilo said PT Timah Tbk Service Month was a form of the company's concern for the community in its operational area.
"This activity was attended by various levels of society and they enthusiastically participated in the PT Timah Tbk Service Month. This is a very good opportunity so that the company continues to work together - the community can support each other," he said.
In the future, he hopes that the community can continue to support PT Timah Tbk's activities so that they can continue to collaborate with each other to develop the region.
"We hope that in the future the company can carry out operational activities smoothly, and can also continue to contribute to the community around the company's operational areas. "Hopefully we can continue to be aligned and can continue to work together to develop the country," he said.
In the same vein, Belinyu Sub-District Head Lingga Pranata appreciated PT Timah Tbk's Service Month and Healthy Car activities in their sub-district.
"Thank you PT Timah for carrying out its service month activities in Belinyu District, by carrying out blood donation activities, mass circumcision, and also free medical treatment. This has a very positive impact on us because this moment is perfect for us because it coincides with school holidays for children who participate in circumcision," he said. (*)
