SOUTH BANGKA - Dozens of blood bags were collected in the blood donation activity carried out in the context of the PT Timah Tbk Service Month which was held at the PT Timah Tbk Alluvial Mining Sector office in Toboali City Village, Toboali District, South Bangka Regency, Saturday (15/07/2023 ).
The activity was attended by PT Timah Tbk's Director of Operations and Production Nur Adi Kuncoro, Dandim 0432 South Bangka Lt. Col. Inf Gani Rachman, South Bangka Police Chief AKBP Toni Sarjaka, South Bangka Kajari Riama BR Sihete and Head of South Bangka Health Service Agus Pranawa were greeted enthusiastically by residents.

"We can see for ourselves that the community was enthusiastic enough to take part in this activity. This means that this activity is very beneficial for the community and the South Bangka Regency Government is ready to support and synergize in helping the community," said Agus.
Apart from that, he also said that the need for blood in South Bangka was still very high.
"Today someone has ordered blood because there are patients who need this blood," he said.
He hopes that in the future this blood donation activity will not only be once a year, but once every three months. That way it can help the blood needs in South Bangka Regency.
"Thank you PT Timah for holding this month of service in South Bangka, one of the activities is blood donation. The need for blood in South Bangka Regency is quite a lot, in one month it can reach 300 bags," he said.
Meanwhile, the Director of Operations and Production (Dirops) of PT Timah Tbk, Nur Adi Kuncoro said that this activity was a routine activity held by PT Timah Tbk in order to commemorate Timah Tbk's anniversary.
"This is a routine activity held in various operational areas in Bangka Belitung, one of which is in South Bangka in commemoration of the 47th anniversary of PT Timah Tbk," said Nur Adi.
He appreciated the Regional Government, Community, and other related Stakeholders for supporting PT Timah Tbk's service month activities.
