PANGKALPINANG -- PT TIMAH Tbk continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through its Micro and Small Business Funding Program (PUMK).
Throughout 2025 and into early 2026, the company has carried out a series of strategic initiatives, ranging from business financing, licensing assistance, and product promotion to capacity-building training and production equipment support for partner MSMEs across the company’s operational areas.
This support for MSMEs is part of PT TIMAH Tbk’s effort to help small businesses move up to the next level while strengthening the local economy. Through the PUMK program, PT TIMAH not only provides capital assistance but also helps promote MSME products.
PT TIMAH Tbk actively opens market access for its partner MSMEs by facilitating their participation in various local and national exhibitions and bazaars. Throughout 2025, partner MSMEs were given opportunities to showcase their products at several strategic events, including Inacraft 2025 in Jakarta, Belitung Expo, the Ramadan Festival, Kampung Ramadan Bazaar, and the 49th Anniversary Bazaar of PT TIMAH Tbk held in several regions.
Products from PT TIMAH Tbk’s partner MSMEs have also been promoted at thematic events such as creative economy festivals, culinary fairs, fashion events, sports activities, and youth exhibitions, including at strategic locations such as airports, tourist areas, and public spaces. Through these activities, MSMEs gain not only promotional exposure but also opportunities to expand their networks and increase sales.
In addition to promotion, PT TIMAH Tbk also focuses on improving the capacity of business owners through MSME training and workshop programs conducted in collaboration with Rumah BUMN Belitung and other strategic partners.

Various training sessions have been organized, covering digital marketing, financial management and reporting, business capital management strategies, as well as creative skills such as batik making, ecoprint techniques, and business idea development. Hundreds of MSME entrepreneurs have participated in these programs to enhance their competitiveness and professionalism.
PT TIMAH Tbk has also distributed production equipment assistance to dozens of partner MSMEs across various sectors, including culinary, agriculture, fisheries, crafts, fashion, and the creative economy. The assistance includes production machines, ovens, freezers, mixers, sewing machines, packaging equipment, and other business support tools.
This support aims to increase production capacity, improve work efficiency, and enhance product quality so MSMEs can compete in broader markets. The value of the assistance is tailored to the specific needs of each MSME as a tangible form of support for business sustainability.
In addition, PT TIMAH Tbk helps MSMEs obtain necessary permits such as distribution licenses, halal certification, intellectual property rights, and others, as part of efforts to strengthen their competitiveness.
The Department Head of Corporate Communication of PT TIMAH Tbk, Anggi Siahaan, stated that supporting MSMEs is part of the company’s commitment to promoting sustainable community economic growth.
“PT TIMAH Tbk is committed to continuously assisting MSMEs so they can move up to the next level and become more competitive. Through facilitation in financing, licensing, exhibitions, training, and production equipment assistance, the company wants partner MSMEs to gain wider market access, increased business capacity, and sustainable productivity,” Anggi said.
She added that the MSME development program focuses not only on economic aspects but also on strengthening the independence and professionalism of business owners.
“We hope this program can deliver real impacts for MSME entrepreneurs, create job opportunities, and encourage the growth of local economies in the company’s operational areas,” she said.
This support for MSMEs aligns with PT TIMAH Tbk’s commitment to implementing Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles to create sustainable value for both the community and the company. (*)
