WEST BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk is again holding social activities by supporting orphans and orphans in Muntok, West Bangka Regency, on Monday (25/9/2023).
Dozens of orphans and orphans looked happy when they received compensation from PT Timah Tbk which was handed over by the Head of the Muntok Metallurgical Unit, Wiyono.
Before providing compensation, PT Timah Tbk also held a joint prayer for the smooth operation of the company in carrying out its business processes.
One of the recipients of compensation, Andhika (14), a resident of Jalan Menara Air Dusun VII, Belo Laut Village, admitted that he was happy to receive assistance from PT Timah Tbk.
"I'm very happy to get compensation, I'll save it first," said Andika.
Likewise, Azalea Shazfa, a resident of Teluk Rubiah Darat Village, Tanjung Subdistrict, said that the compensation provided by PT Timah Tbk would be given to her parents first to help the family financially.
"Thank God, I got help from PT Timah Tbk. Later, my parents will give me the money first," he said.
PT Timah Tbk often provides compensation for orphans and other people in need. This is a form of concrete action by the company to provide benefits to communities around the mine. (*)
