PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah Tbk has successfully held a 2023 Devotional Month to welcome the Company's 47th Anniversary which was held in three Provinces namely Bangka Belitung, Riau Archipelago, and Jakarta.
PT Timah Tbk's Bakti Month is an annual agenda held by issuers with the TINS ??code by carrying out blood donation activities and mass circumcisions. The 47th Anniversary of PT Timah Tbk which falls on August 2 will carry the theme 'Selasar and Hard Work'.
The series of PT Timah Tbk Service Month activities were carried out at nine points, namely in East Belitung Regency, Bangka Regency in Belinyu, Bukit Layang and Sungailiat Villages, South Bangka Regency in Toboali, West Bangka Regency in Mentok, Karimun Regency in Kundur, Pangkalpinang City and Jakarta.
The PT Timah Tbk Service Month activities were held from 10-22 July 2023 which involved various elements of society both as participants and executors of the activity. PT Timah Tbk's Service Month was also enthusiastically welcomed by the community in the operational area.
A total of 962 children participated in the mass circumcision and 472 blood bags were collected in activities carried out by members of the Mining Industry Holding. The number of circumcised children and blood donors exceeded the expected target.
The Board of Directors of PT Timah Tbk were also present and witnessed firsthand the series of Service Months held in the operational area. Several Regional Heads also attended the activities carried out in each region such as the East Belitung Regent, Burhanudin and West Bangka Deputy Regent Bong Ming Ming.
President Director of PT Timah Tbk, Ahmad Dani Virsal said the PT Timah Tbk Service Month was an expression of the company's gratitude by sharing with the community in the company's operational areas.
"Alhamdulillah, this year PT Timah Tbk will turn 47 years old. The company is holding a Blood Donation Service Month and a mass circumcision. This is a form of our gratitude for the gift as well as providing benefits to the community in the company's operational areas," said Dani Virsal.
Seeing the enthusiasm of the residents participating in the PT Timah TB Service Month, he said that in the future this activity would be held regularly. This activity is expected to provide meaning and benefits to the company and society.
"Hopefully this series of activities for this month of service can provide meaning for all of us, for employees, for the community. We hope we can synergize and collaborate with each other," he said.
He also appreciated the hundreds of donors who had donated blood to help others. Through this blood donation activity, it is hoped that it can help meet the needs of blood for those who need it.
Meanwhile, East Belitung Regent Burhanudin appreciated PT Timah Tbk for carrying out mass circumcision activities and blood donors whose benefits could be felt directly by the community.
"We are grateful to PT Timah Tbk for carrying out the PT Timah Tbk service month in East Belitung. Because this really helps people in need, especially those who participate in mass circumcision," he said.
Likewise, West Bangka Deputy Regent Bong Ming Ming hopes that PT Timah Tbk's Month of Service can be held every year because this activity helps many people.

PT Timah Tbk's Mass Circumcision is one of the annual agendas awaited by the community in the company's operational areas. Every time it is held, the community is always enthusiastic to participate in the activities carried out in the framework of the PT Timah Tbk Service Month.
This state-owned company provides various attractive gifts for circumcised participants. PT Timah Tbk also presents clowns to entertain circumcised children.
The number of children participating in PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision this year was 962 more children compared to last year's 730 people.
Not wanting to be left behind by the twins from Tutut Hamlet, Penyamun Village also took part in the mass circumcision which was held at PT Timah Tbk's Technical and Facilities Office in Sungailiat, Bangka.
The children of Rega Darmawan and Regi Darmansyah (8) said they were happy to be able to take part in the mass circumcision from PT Timah Tbk because apart from being circumcised they also received prizes.
"It's nice to have been circumcised, I want to be alone because I'm big," said the two of them in unison after being circumcised.
Their parents, Saferi, said they had been waiting for PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision. The reason is, it can reduce the cost of circumcision which is currently not cheap.
"In the past, his brother also took part in PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision. Thank God my two twins were able to participate as well. So we are waiting for PT Timah Tbk to hold this activity so they can participate in this free one because it is very helpful," he said.
Not only attended by residents but PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision was also used by the management of the Tanjung Batu Al Muhajirin Orphanage to participate in circumcising orphans and orphans.
The caretaker of the Tanjung Batu Al Muhajirin Orphanage, Burhanudin said there were seven children from their orphanage who participated in PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision. For them, this mass circumcision is very helpful for them.
"This activity is very good and helpful for us caregivers and caretakers of the Al Muhajirin orphans. Some time ago PT Timah Tbk also provided assistance and also activities for children at the Orphanage," he said.
One of the children from the Al Muhajirin Institution, Ryan, said he was very happy to participate in the mass circumcision. He said he already had his own wish for circumcision this year.
"Thank God, finally the wish for this year's circumcision can come true with this activity from PT Timah. Thank you PT Timah Tbk," he said.
Meanwhile, a participant from Belitung, Ahmad Abdila, was happy to be able to take part in PT Timah Tbk's mass circumcision, because this was his own wish.
"Thank you very much to PT Timah Tbk for carrying out the mass circumcision," said the 2nd-grade elementary school student.
In the same vein, Ahmad Abdila's parents, Eka, said they were aware of information about mass circumcision from the head of the local RT. So he immediately registered his son. With the mass circumcision, he said, it really helped them, especially in terms of costs.
"Alhamdulillah, if our own costs are almost IDR 800 thousand, we can get this for free. PT Timah Tbk helps the community and hopefully PT Timah Tbk will continue to be victorious," he explained.

Not only Timah employees who took part in this blood donor were also joined by the general public. Through this donor activity, it is hoped that it can help people who need blood.

West Bangka Police Chief AKBP Ade Zamrah who took part in the blood donation said that this blood donation activity was very beneficial for the community. Especially for those who need blood.
"This activity is very beneficial for the community, so that the community feels the presence of PT Timah Tbk positively. The West Bangka Police are very supportive of this activity and we hope that this synergy and collaboration can continue," he said.
In the same vein, Martini, a resident of Air Ruay Sungailiat, said that he donated blood because it was according to the blood donor schedule.
"Yes, I am also happy to be able to donate blood together with PT Timah Tbk's social services. We hope that activities like this are routine so that more and more people will be helped and PT Timah Tbk will continue to be successful," he said.
One of PT Timah Tbk's employees, Dikron, said that he routinely donates blood, especially during PT Timah Tbk's Service Month activities.

PMI Bangka Regency Service Staff Anggriyani said PMI Bangka often collaborates with PT Timah Tbk to carry out blood donations. He admitted that with mass blood donors like this, more and more people came to donate blood.
"We have often collaborated with PT Timah Tbk, sometimes we even come to their office to invite employees to donate blood. The need for blood is quite a lot, so we continue to try to invite people to become active donors," he said. (**)
