KARIMUN -- PT Timah’s Healthy Mobile Clinic once again provided healthcare services to the community, this time in Dusun II, Kundur Village, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province.
The community enthusiastically welcomed the healthcare services, with 100 patients receiving treatment from the Healthy Mobile Clinic on Thursday, May 22, 2025.
In carrying out the Healthy Mobile Clinic services, PT Timah collaborated with the Village Government and local military personnel (Bhabinsa). This initiative aims to improve the overall health of the community.
PT Timah regularly provides free healthcare services to communities in the Kundur Islands Province, with the mobile clinic traveling to remote villages to enhance public health quality.
From January to March 2025, PT Timah’s Healthy Mobile Clinic visited ten locations across the Bangka Belitung Islands and the Riau Islands Province.
A total of 1,221 people have benefited from the presence of the Healthy Mobile Clinic. Those receiving services range from children to the elderly.
Through the mobile clinic, PT Timah offers basic health checks such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol screenings, health consultations, and healthy lifestyle education.
PT Timah’s Department Head of Corporate Communication, Anggi Siahaan, stated that the Healthy Mobile Clinic, launched in 2020, is part of the company's efforts to improve community health.
"PT Timah operates three Healthy Mobile Clinic units across its operational areas. The presence of these mobile clinics reflects PT Timah’s commitment to improving public health and bringing healthcare services closer to the people," he said.
