PANGKALPINANG -- The presence of PT Timah Tbk’s Healthy Mobile Clinic during the 49th Anniversary Health Week in Pangkalpinang on Sunday (August 31, 2025) was met with great enthusiasm from the public.
After participating in a fun walk, residents began to gather around PT Timah Tbk’s Healthy Mobile Clinic, which was parked at the company’s headquarters. This free healthcare service is part of the company’s commitment to improving public health.
A total of 125 people received free medical checkups during the 49th Anniversary Health Week event in Pangkalpinang.
PT Timah’s Healthy Mobile Clinic has consistently drawn attention at every corporate social responsibility event. Attendees took advantage of the services to check their blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels, and to consult with medical professionals.
PT Timah continues to deploy its Healthy Mobile Clinic as a sign of its concern for public health in its operational areas. This program has reached various remote regions, including villages, to bring healthcare services closer to communities.
One resident, Yanti Riani, expressed her gratitude for the free medical services. She initially only intended to join the fun walk and was pleasantly surprised to find out about the health checkups.
“Thank God, we were able to get free checkups. It’s really helpful, especially since it’s available right in the middle of the crowd. At first, I didn’t know there would be health checkups because I only came for the fun walk, but then I saw the Healthy Mobile Clinic,” she said.
Another participant, Edi, shared that the Healthy Mobile Clinic helped him learn about his health condition.
“I just tried the checkup out of curiosity, and it turned out my cholesterol was high. I’m thankful for this event because now I know I need to watch my diet more carefully,” he said.
The presence of the Healthy Mobile Clinic during Health Week not only supported the community’s physical activities but also served as a reminder of the importance of maintaining overall health.
In addition to healthcare services, Health Week also featured group exercise, a fun walk, fun run, MSME bazaar, blood donation, and public entertainment that added to the lively atmosphere.
