BELITUNG - PT Timah Tbk's Health Car is back in guerrilla mode to provide free health services for the people of Belitung Island. Starting in 2023, the Healthy Car visited Belitung residents, to be precise at the Kampong Parit Village Head Office, Tanjungpandan, Belitung, Tuesday (31/1/2023).
The move by members of the MIND ID mining industry holding to bring health services closer was greeted enthusiastically by residents. A total of 111 residents who checked their health in PT Timah Tbk's Health Car.
One of the healthy car patients, Sapariah (87) said, it was the first time he had treatment in the healthy car. During this time, he regularly seeks treatment at the Belitung Hospital. According to him, getting treatment in a healthy car feels comfortable.
"Convenient treatment in the car," he said
In the same vein, a resident of Parit Arsad Village (65) said that the treatment in the healthy car was very good, especially the service.
"Treatment is comfortable, and also close to this house," he said.
Maimunah (81) also checked her health and admitted that she was very happy to seek treatment in a healthy car.
"Comfortable, friendly service, and we see this program is good and good," he said.
He hopes that the program will continue, because for the elderly it is very helpful, especially the very close distance to the community.
Meanwhile, Village Head of Kampong Parit, Vita Widiastuti appreciated PT Timah Tbk's steps to bring health services closer to the community through healthy cars.
"We are happy, and the weather is supportive and the residents are enthusiastic," he said.
According to Vita, health checks must be routinely carried out so that they can detect various potential diseases.
