PANGKALPINANG -- To provide convenience and bring health services closer to the community, PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car continues to raid operational areas on Bangka Island to remote areas.
The health services carried out in this car have visited 17 locations on Bangka Island from January to 10 September 2022. PT Timah's Healthy Car has provided free health services for 1,603 people on Bangka Island.
Healthy Cars PT Timah Tbk visited Bangka Regency, South Bangka Regency, Central Bangka Regency, and West Bangka Regency and Regency.
Free health services and consultation through PT Timah Tbk's Healthy car is an effort by PT Timah Tbk to improve the quality of public health. The reason is that the health sector is one of the priority sectors in the distribution of corporate CSR.
PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car Program has been launched at the end of 2020 and has served thousands of people in Bangka Belitung Province. In fact, PT Timah Tbk has added a fleet of Healthy Cars to PT Timah Tbk which is also stationed on Belitung Island.
The presence of PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car is always enthusiastically welcomed by the community, many people are even willing to queue to get this free health service.
Residents of Hamlet 2 Belo Laut Village, Muntok District, West Bangka Regency, Asia (81) some time ago said that he was very happy to get free health services from PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car,
"This is what we want, health services that come directly to the community. Moreover, like an old grandmother, PT Timah's Healthy Car activities are quite helpful. Come here often so that it is easy for grandmother to get treatment," she said.
Meanwhile, Assistant 3 for Administration and General Affairs of the West Bangka Regency Government, Herzon said that free health services are very beneficial for the community.

Similarly, the Head of Cambai Village, Namang District, Central Bangka Regency, Anti Maryono, said that the PT Timah Tbk Healthy Car activity was enthusiastically welcomed by the residents.
Where many people of various ages come to have their health checked at Car Sehat.
"Once we announced that there would be free health services, there were many who came. This is a very good program and hopefully, it will continue, because it is also in line with the government's program to improve the quality of public health," he said.
According to him, the presence of PT Timah's healthy car is a ball pick-up service that is really needed by the community. Because he admits, that many people are reluctant to check their health either at the puskesmas or other health service facilities.
"Let the community have BPJS, so that there are health centers sometimes careless to check their health. With this healthy car, PT Timah Tbk picks up the ball to check public health. By being visited like this, people are also enthusiastic about checking their health," he said.
