PANGKALPINANG -- The presence of PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Car at the PT Timah Tbk Healthy Week which was held at PT Timah's Head Office on Sunday (6/8/2023) was greeted enthusiastically by the participants of the Healthy Week.
As many as 106 participants took part in having their health checked at PT Timah Tbk's Health Car, they were waiting in line to have their health checked.
PT Timah Tbk Health Car is a free health service from PT Timah Tbk for the community in the company's operational areas. In Healthy Week for the 47th Anniversary of PT Timah Tbk, a Healthy Car is also presented so that participants can have their health checked.
One of the residents of Sungailiat who attended the PT Timah Tbk Healthy Week, Thalib also did not miss having his health checked at the PT Timah Tbk Healthy Car.
This Run Race participant said that he was invited by his colleagues to take part in a health check after finishing the Run Race.
"Earlier, I happened to run too, a friend said there was a free health check. So check your health as well. It turned out that when I checked my cholesterol was high," said Thalib.
According to him, free health checks in crowds are very appropriate, because people can check their health at the same time.
"It's crowded, so people who previously just wanted to exercise have the opportunity to take part in health checks. So yes, complete sports and health checks too," he said.
A similar sentiment was expressed by Tarmizi (68), a resident of Jalan Depati Amir, Pangkalpinang City, who said that initially he only came to take part in PT Timah Tbk's Healthy Week.
However, because he had several complaints, he immediately checked his health. He is happy because health services are comfortable and handled by doctors directly.
"This is very useful for those of us who have health complaints. Previously, we only took part in the healthy walk, but this gets a bonus, being able to have a health check too. Yes, I am very happy, and the service is also comfortable," he said.
He hopes that later PT Timah Tbk's Health Car can come near their environment so that he can return for a health check. (*)
