KUNDUR -- Hadi Syahputra's dream of being accepted into the PT Timah Tbk scholarship class program at SMAN 1 Pemali has finally come true. Hadi was finally able to pass after conquering a series of tests.
This student of SMP Negeri 3 Kundur Barat explained that he had long wanted to be able to get a scholarship from PT Timah Tbk. His enthusiasm burned even more when he heard the experiences of his seniors who had previously been accepted into the PT Timah Tbk scholarship class program.
"I have really dreamed of getting a scholarship since I entered SMP Negeri 3 Kundur Barat because the teachers always motivate all students to study seriously and continue to show achievement so that in the future they can take part in the PT Timah scholarship," he said.
He said that their seniors also often came to school to share their experiences with attending SMAN 1 Pemali which was filled with outstanding students from the provinces of Bangka Belitung, Karimun, and Meranti.
"With so many outstanding students, we will continue to strive to improve the quality of our learning so we are not left behind by other students," he said.
A similar sentiment was also expressed by Maklum Nainggolan, who is the parent of Regina Rosalinda Nainggolan who was accepted into the PT Timah Tbk scholarship class program. He admitted that he was happy and happy that his son could be accepted into this program.
"I am very pleased and happy that my child can pass the PT Timah Tbk Scholarship selection. This program is very helpful for parents like us who expect their children to get a better education but are constrained by costs," he said.
According to him, the PT Timah Tbk Scholarship Class program at SMAN 1 Pemali is a solution for children on Kundur Island to compete on the achievement track.
