BANGKA – The Bangka Regency Government has won the TOP Award for Praised Public Service Innovation KIPP 2021 based on pentahelix in the environmental field , GERBANG LESTARI “The Environmental Conservation Development Movement”.
Gates Lestari succeeded in penetrating the Top Praiseworthy Public Service Innovation in Indonesia for the 2021 general category from the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform.
The Bangka Regency Government is collaborating with PT Timah Tbk to develop the Lestari Gate. Where Kampoeng Reclamation of Air Jangkang which is managed by PT Timah Tbk is one of the ex-mining environmental management models that can be used as productive, educative, tourism-oriented and sustainable land.
In Kampoeng, the Water Reclamation of Jangkang Area, which was once a former tin mine, has now become a tourist spot as well as a center for the rehabilitation of protected animals.
The Regent of Bangka, Mulkan, expressed his gratitude to PT Timah Tbk for the various initiatives and efforts that have been carried out. According to Mulkan, the Bangka Regency Government is implementing pentahelix collaboration in regional development involving stakeholders. In carrying out the pentahelix collaboration, there are several pillars namely Regional Government, Business Actors, Society, Academics, and Mass Media.
Mulkan feels very proud of the success of the pentahelix collaboration in Bangka Regency so that regional development can be maximized and have a positive impact on improving community welfare.
"In the future, I hope that all other business actors in Bangka Regency, both those engaged in mining, industry, plantations, fisheries and others, can maximize their pentahelix collaboration, in collaboration with the Bangka Regency Government to carry out regional development in order to realize the vision of Bangka Equivalent," he said.
Meanwhile, Head of Corporate Communications of PT Timah Tbk, Anggi Siahaan said, PT Timah Tbk is collaborating with various parties to develop the region.
Anggi said, Kampoeng Reclamation of Air Jangkang is one of the models for managing ex-mining land carried out by PT Timah which is carried out in an integrated manner. In addition to land management, PT Timah also empowers the community to manage the area.
