PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah Tbk won an award as a company that has fulfilled the protection, respect, and restoration of Human Rights according to the Business Risk Assessment and Human Rights (PRISMA) indicators from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) of the Republic of Indonesia (RI).
This award was presented by the Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Bangka Belitung Islands T. Daniel L. Tobing to the Head of the Risk Management Division of PT Timah Tbk, Hadi Sundoyo at the Babel Ministry of Law and Human Rights Office, Friday (19/8/2022).
The awarding of this award is at the same time a series of activities for the 77th Dharma Karya Dhika Day (HDKD) 2022. This TINS-coded issuer won this award because it is considered to have fulfilled the protection, respect, and restoration of Human Rights according to the indicators of business risk assessment and Human Rights ( PRISMA) conducted by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
Head of Corporate Communications of PT Timah Tbk, Anggi Siahaan said PT Timah Tbk is committed to running a business with the principle of respecting human rights. This is in line with the principle of respect for human rights adopted by the United Nations (UN).
"Respect for human rights is one of the most highly respected things by the company's management. He said that the achievement of this award has spurred the spirit of the company and management to be more obedient to respect for human rights.
