BANGKA -- The spirit of sharing and growing together with the community continues to be an integral part of PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk’s 50th Anniversary celebration through its Community Service Month, held across the Company’s operational areas.
Entering the second stop of the Community Service Month program, PT TIMAH brought its activities to Stania Hall in Belinyu District, Bangka Regency, on Tuesday (July 28, 2026). Carrying the theme "Tin for the People," PT TIMAH organized a mass circumcision program, blood donation drive, and free medical checkup services.
The program reflects the Company's ongoing commitment to contributing to the improvement of public health and community welfare throughout its operational areas.
The enthusiasm of the community was evident from early in the morning. Hundreds of residents gathered at the venue to take advantage of the services provided. Parents accompanied their children to participate in the mass circumcision program, residents received free medical checkups, while blood donors took part in the humanitarian initiative.
During the event, the social program successfully provided mass circumcision services to 84 children, free medical checkups to 161 residents, and collected blood donations from 138 donors.
PT TIMAH’s free medical services became one of the most popular programs among residents. In addition to providing free health examinations, the medical team also offered health consultations and prescribed medications based on the examination results.
Belinyu District Secretary Agus Rafina expressed his appreciation for PT TIMAH’s consistency in delivering programs that provide direct benefits to the community.
"For today's activities, we have seen tremendous enthusiasm. In particular, the mass circumcision program attracted more than 80 children, from what I heard. Alhamdulillah. There were also many people who came for the free medical checkups," he said.
According to him, social initiatives such as mass circumcisions, blood donation drives, and free healthcare services are meaningful forms of corporate care that create positive impacts for the community.
Agus Rafina hopes that PT TIMAH’s 50th Anniversary Community Service Month will serve as a momentum to further strengthen the relationship between the Company and the people of Belinyu.
