Free Health Services Arrive in Padang Village Through PT TIMAH’s Mobile Health Clinic

BELITUNG TIMUR — As part of its commitment to improving community health quality, PT TIMAH once again provided free healthcare services through its Mobile Health Clinic program for residents in East Belitung Regency.

This time, PT TIMAH’s Mobile Health Clinic delivered free healthcare services to residents of Padang Jaya, Padang Village, East Belitung Regency, on Thursday (May 21, 2026).

The presence of the Mobile Health Clinic was warmly welcomed by residents who came to receive general health check-ups, medical consultations, and free medicines.

Head of Padang Village, Izhar, expressed appreciation to PT TIMAH for its concern for the health of local residents and for bringing the Mobile Health Clinic to the area.

“PT TIMAH is a company that always cares about communities surrounding its operational areas, especially in Padang Village. Thank you for your concern. The community was very enthusiastic about getting health check-ups because the access was close and free of charge,” he explained.

Izhar added that PT TIMAH’s concern extends beyond healthcare, as the company has also previously supported residents through salt-making programs, Islamic boarding schools, and sacrificial cattle donations during Eid al-Adha.

“PT TIMAH has contributed so much to the people of Padang Village. Thank you, PT TIMAH, and may these good deeds continue,” he said.

One of the beneficiaries, Komariah (53), expressed gratitude for the free healthcare service program from PT TIMAH, saying it brought healthcare services closer to the community.

“Alhamdulillah, based on the health check results, everything is good — no cholesterol and no uric acid issues,” she said cheerfully.

Although it was not her first time utilizing the free health service, Komariah hopes the program will continue for the community.

“The service is still very good, friendly, and the medicines are complete. From the past until now, the Mobile Health Clinic has always been excellent. Hopefully, these free medical services will continue,” she hoped.

Similarly, Padang Village resident Marsida (50) said she was happy to benefit from the free healthcare service because it greatly helped reduce expenses.

“I’m happy to receive free healthcare services. The queue was not too long, and the service was very good. Since it’s free, it really helps financially because the economy is difficult these days,” she said.

She also hopes the program will continue because it is very beneficial for the community.

“Even if it’s not every month, for example twice a year, having this program come here would greatly help residents. Thank you PT TIMAH, and may the company always be successful and prosperous,” she added.

PT TIMAH’s Mobile Health Clinic program is routinely carried out in various regions as part of the company’s contribution to improving public health standards while also strengthening harmonious relations with communities surrounding its operational areas. (*)
