WEST BANGKA -- PT Timah Tbk handed over assistance for the construction of the Multipurpose Building for the Al Hidayah Foundation in Tegalrejo Village, Muntok District, West Bangka Regency.
This assistance was handed over by the Head of Security for Unmet PT Timah Tbk Sutimin to the Chairman of the Al Hidayah Foundation Mentok Tumijo which was also witnessed by the Congregation of the Al Hidayah Mosque, Tuesday (25/7/2023).
This multi-purpose building is used to support various community activities such as social and religious activities.
The head of the Al Hidayah Tegalrejo Foundation, Mentok Tumijo, said that the construction of the multi-purpose building had reached 70% and would be used for community meetings.
"The construction of the Al Hidayah Foundation building will be used by the community for meetings, deliberations, and other activities, currently the construction has reached 70%," he said.
According to him, assistance from PT Timah Tbk will be used to continue the construction of the building because it had stopped due to the lack of funds.
"We thank PT Timah, I hope it will be more victorious, successful, and continue to help the community," he said.
In the same vein, the Marbot of the Al Hidayah Marijo mosque said that the role of PT Timah was felt by the people of Tegalrejo
"Residents of Tegalrejo thank PT Timah for helping complete the Multipurpose building of the Al Hidayah Foundation. Hopefully, PT Timah will be more victorious and be able to build the city of Mentok," he said
Meanwhile, Congregation of the Al Hidayah Mosque Edy Sudarsono said, PT Timah Tbk often assists the community and the Al Hidayah Mosque.
"In addition to the construction of the Al Hidayah foundation's multi-purpose building, PT Timah is also helping the Al Hidayah congregation and mosque, providing food assistance, sacrificial animals, and others.
