PANGKALPINANG -- Danrem 045 Gaya Brigadier General TNI Safta Feryansyah visited PT Timah. The presence of Danrem and the team from Korem 045/Gaya was welcomed by the Director of Operations and Production of PT Timah Nur Adi Kuncoro at Griya Timah Pangkalpinang, Wednesday (14/8/2024).
This working visit also strengthens the synergy that has existed between PT Timah and Korem 045 Gaya.
Danrem 045/Gaya said that previously they had collaborated on strengthening territorial development in the PT Timah mining business permit area in the Bangka Belitung Province region.
Apart from that, Danrem also explained KASAD's superior programs which will be implemented in various regions in Indonesia, such as food security, TNI Manunggal Air, RLTH, Stunting, and Uniting with Nature.
According to him, there was a superior program that had previously been synergized by Korem 045 Gaya with PT Timah, such as TNI Manunggal Air, which was implemented by providing drilled wells for residents.
Furthermore, he said that his party also hopes that PT Timah can synergize with Korem 045 Gaya to manage ex-mining land by reforesting it using calliandra plants.
"We also have a program to carry out reforestation by planting hardy trees such as calliandra, which perhaps could be synergized with PT Timah in reclamating ex-mining land," he said.
On this occasion, the Danrem 045 Gaya team also explained the potential of calliandra and acacia plants which can simultaneously support the community's economy and the energy transition.
In the future, he hopes that there will be synergy and further discussions between PT Timah and Korem 045 Gaya regarding environmental management programs that are in line with the TNI AD's superior programs.
Meanwhile, Nur Adi Kuncoro appreciated the working visit from Danrem 045 Gaya and his team to PT Timah. He hopes that this can strengthen friendship.
"We are grateful for the synergy that has been built and hopefully in the future we will be able to synergize again with several superior programs because such as handling stunting, reforestation and RTLH, we also have similar programs," he said.
He explained that Timah had carried out land reclamation on ex-mining land in accordance with the reclamation plan set by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
"PT Timah carries out reclamation in accordance with the reclamation plan that has been approved by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. And indeed every year PT Timah carries out reclamation. Regarding this, there are still several things that we can synergize together, both short and long term," he said.
