The PT Timah Tbk Emergency Response Group (ERG) Team is back on a humanitarian mission. This time helping victims of flash floods and landslides in Pamengpeuk, Garut Regency, West Java, Tuesday (20/10/2020).
PT Timah ERG Team Leader for the Garut flash flood mission, Hendy said the ERG team deployed in this mission were 12 people consisting of medics and paramedics. The team departed from Jakarta and Pangkalpinang on Tuesday, September 20, 2020, carrying goods and medicines to help flood victims in Garut. From Pangkalpinang, the departure of the ERG team was released by the Head of the General Facilities and Administration Division, Ahmad Haspani, with Riky Febriansyah as the team leader.
In this humanitarian mission, PT Timah's ERG team brought a number of logistical assistance, medicines, milk and food to help the affected communities. Upon arrival at the disaster site, the ERG team will join the local BPBD to determine which areas will receive assistance. The plan, the team will be in Garut for a week. The PT Timah ERG team under the control of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has carried out many humanitarian missions to help disaster victims in the country.
