KARIMUN -- Celebrating the 23rd anniversary of Karimun Regency, PT Timah Tbk supports the TOK Fishing Tournament the Tuah Orang Kite Community holds. This assistance was handed over in the Coastal Area, Sunday (16/10/2022).
The fishing tournament to revitalize the 23rd anniversary of Karimun Regency was attended by around 305 anglers from various regions in Karimun Regency such as from Kundur, Moro, Buru, and the people of Karimun Island itself.
The chairman of the TOK Fishing Tournament 2022 committee, Raja Muhammad Taufik, said that this activity was carried out at the initiation of the youth who are members of the Tuah Orang Kite community.
"We would like to thank PT Timah for assisting the activity committee and contributing to the success of this tournament. The enthusiasm of the community is also very large in participating in this activity," he said.
The king said that the enthusiasm for participating in the activity was very high, it could be seen when registration was closed, there were still many people who wanted to register.
"To this day there are still many who want to register, but they can no longer be accepted. We hope that in the future we will be able to hold even bigger activities," he said.
Meanwhile, one of the participants, Jefri, expressed his gratitude to the organizers for carrying out this activity.
