WEST BANGKA – In the spirit of the 2025 Ramadan season, PT Timah Tbk continues its support for places of worship within its operational areas to improve community comfort in practicing their faith.
This time, PT Timah, a member of the MIND ID Holding, assisted in the management of the Al Hidayah Mosque in Perumnas, Keranggan Sub-district, Mentok District, West Bangka Regency.
The chairman of Al Hidayah Mosque, Sapi’i, stated that PT Timah’s assistance would be used to build the mosque’s terrace.
"We have just completed the renovation of our prayer hall into a mosque. The original prayer hall was established in 2010 but had deteriorated significantly, so we, as the management, decided to renovate it into a proper mosque," he explained.
Sapi’i further mentioned that as of December 2024, the mosque's main structure had been completed. However, additional work remains, including the construction of a terrace, ablution area, and fencing.
To complete these remaining parts, they submitted a request for assistance from PT Timah, particularly for the terrace construction. He expressed gratitude that PT Timah could support their mosque’s development.
