PANGKALPINANG — Hundreds of participants in the TNI Babel Run took advantage of the health services provided by PT Timah’s Mobile Health Unit at the Mako Korem 045/Gaya on Sunday (October 27, 2024). PT Timah’s Mobile Health Unit offers healthcare services to improve the community’s health quality.
The TNI Babel Run is part of a series of events celebrating the 79th anniversary of the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI). PT Timah’s Mobile Health Unit provided free healthcare services for both the general public and runners participating in the event.
A total of 125 people received free health services from PT Timah’s Mobile Health Unit, particularly those who had completed the race.
Besides reaching remote communities, PT Timah’s Mobile Health Unit also attends various public events to make healthcare more accessible to the community.
Previously, PT Timah and the TNI have frequently collaborated to provide health services to the public at various TNI events.
One participant, Ani, took advantage of the Mobile Health services, as she had been experiencing a sore throat.
"I had some complaints initially, and since there was free healthcare at this event, I decided to get a check-up after the race," she shared.
Ani found the health services on the Mobile Health Unit to be comfortable, with a well-stocked supply of medications that made it convenient for people to get their health checked.
“The Mobile Health Unit is clean, the service is friendly, and the medications are complete. It’s also a comfortable place to get treated, with some education on healthy living,” she concluded. (*)
