PANGKALPINANG -- As part of its efforts to support youth activities and community social initiatives, PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk has provided facilities and infrastructure assistance to the Karang Taruna of Sinar Bulan Subdistrict, Bukit Intan District, Pangkalpinang City.
Chairman of Karang Taruna Sinar Bulan, Wiki Surya Pratama, stated that the assistance from PT TIMAH has been very helpful for the community, especially during social events and residents’ needs.
“We are grateful to receive assistance from PT TIMAH in the form of facilities such as chairs, tables, and tents. This support is very helpful for the community, especially for events like funerals or weddings,” he said.
According to Wiki, the facilities are not only used by residents of Sinar Bulan Subdistrict but are also utilized by communities in surrounding areas such as Air Itam Raya, Temberan Subdistrict, and Air Itam Subdistrict.
He added that PT TIMAH has consistently supported various youth and social activities within the community.
“We have received a lot of support from PT TIMAH, especially in strengthening youth activities,” he said.
Karang Taruna Sinar Bulan hopes that the company’s support for the community and younger generation will continue in the future.
“We hope PT TIMAH will continue supporting the community, grow stronger, and achieve greater success,” he added.
As a form of mutual support, Karang Taruna Sinar Bulan also expressed its readiness to support various PT TIMAH activities conducted in their area.
