PANGKALPINANG -- PT Timah continues to increase the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) which are its fostered partners by providing training for MSMEs.
Member of the MIND ID Mining Industry holding company, PT Timah, is aware of several challenges faced by MSME players in developing their businesses, such as limited access to capital, knowledge, and managerial skills.
For this reason, PT Timah through the Micro Small Business Funding (PUMK) program helps MSMEs with capital with revolving fund loans and improves skills by providing training for MSMEs assisted by PT Timah.
Equipping MSMEs with insight into business development is PT Timah's effort to support the progress of MSME businesses so that they can create jobs, increase people's income, and encourage overall economic growth.
In 2024, PT Timah again plans to hold training for MSME players to increase the capacity of its fostered partners.
The training that will be held for fostered partners in 2024 is Business Mindset
with the theme 'Building a Progressive Business Mindset: Catalyst for MSME Growth in the Era of Digitalization' and Business Legality with the theme 'Navigate Business Legality: Understanding and Implementing Legal Aspects for MSME Success'.
In recent years, PT Timah has regularly held training for its fostered partners, such as Batik Eco Print training for MSMEs, digital marketing and public speaking workshops which were held together with Rumah BUMN Belitung.
PT Timah has also held digital financial management and preparation training for fostered partners.
PT Timah's Head of Corporate Communications, Anggi Siahaan, said that PT Timah continues to encourage the development of MSMEs in the company's operational areas in an integrated manner starting from capital, coaching, training, and marketing.
