WEST BANGKA -- The faces of 170 cleaning workers in West Bangka were so cheerful. They are willing to wait, even though they have just finished working as cleaning workers at the West Bangka Regency Government's Environmental Service to receive basic food supplies from PT Timah Tbk.
The basic food assistance for the troops was symbolically handed over by the Head of the Unmet Secretariat Division, Arief Yudianto, to Assistant 1 of the West Bangka Regency Government, Ridwan, witnessed by the Plh of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Syafriaadi Chandra, in the yard of the Environmental Service Office, Thursday (6/4/2023)
Furthermore, as many as 170 food packages were distributed to cleaning forces in West Bangka.
West Bangka Economic and Development Assistant 1 Ridwan hopes that PT Timah's assistance will be useful to the Yellow Troops.
"We got groceries from PT Timah,
Don't judge this assistance by how much it is. But PT Timah's concern for us, I hope it will be useful for our friends in the Yellow Troops," he said.
One of the recipients of the basic food packages, Eva (44), a resident of Belo Laut, was grateful to receive the basic food packages from PT Timah Tbk. He is pleased with PT Timah Tbk's concern for them.
"Alhamdulillah, we were given sustenance from PT Timah Tbk. This is very useful in the month of Ramadan. Hopefully, PT Timah will always be happy and next year we can provide more assistance," he said.
Senada Mulyadi (49), a resident of Happy, said he was happy with PT Timah Tbk's attention to the cleaning staff.
"Very happy, grateful to receive groceries from PT Timah. This shows PT Timah cares for us. Hopefully PT Timah will progress further, and pay more attention to local residents," said Mulyadi. (*)
