EAST BELITUNG - PT Timah Tbk continues to spread happiness and share together in the moment of Ramadan 1446 Hijriah. Various series of activities were held in this blessed Holy Month.
In this Ramadan, PT Timah held social and religious activities such as Ramadan safari, iftar together, assistance to houses of worship, assistance for religious activities, compensation for orphans and orphans.
In the first Safari Ramadan held by the Division Head Area Belitung office, in Lenggang Village, Gantung District, East Belitung Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Wednesday (5/03/2025) was greeted enthusiastically by the surrounding community.
On this occasion, PT Timah Business Development Director Dicky Octa Zahriadi handed over assistance to Musala Al Falah in Gantung District.
The caretaker of Musala Al Falah, Junaidi, said that the assistance from PT Timah would be used to repair several mosque facilities.
“Alhamdullilah, today I represent the members of the Al Falah Mosque Prosperity Board (BKM) very grateful for the assistance from PT Timah. This assistance is planned to be used to repair loudspeakers and also replace some mosque carpets,” said Junaidi.
Not only that, Junaidi also said that PT timah is active in helping various activities in their mosque. He also hopes that PT Timah can continue to contribute to the community.
“This is not the first time PT Timah has helped us, Alhamdullilah PT Timah has often helped us, such as on Eid al-Adha, PT Timah often distributes sacrificial animals to our mosque and we distribute them to the people around our mosque,” he said.
He prayed for PT Timah to continue to exist so that it can continue to contribute to the surrounding community.
“Hopefully PT Timah will continue to progress, its employees will be in good health, and its production results will be good, and of course it can continue to contribute to the community,” he hoped. (*)
