JAKARTA -- Shabrina Leanor's journey in the talent show Indonesian Idol has now reached its most decisive stage. The young woman from East Belitung, in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, has successfully advanced to the Grand Final of Indonesian Idol.
Shabrina’s performance during the Top 3 night on Monday (May 5, 2025) captured the attention of millions of viewers across Indonesia, thanks to her golden voice and captivating stage presence.
More than just a regional pride, Shabrina’s struggle on the big stage of Indonesian Idol is also an emotional moment for her family.
Shabrina’s father, Warguno Jaya Saputra, revealed that Shabrina had shown a talent for singing from a young age and that her abilities had grown significantly since she began her studies in Jakarta.
“I saw her talent from a young age, and I noticed her abilities developed rapidly after she started college in Jakarta,” he said.
